One way to maintain your youthful tone and elasticity is through exercise, but not just any old exercise. Here's how to do it and it's easy as A B C ... well actually as easy as A E I O U !
- Pronounce the letter A and hold your face muscles in that position without releasing. Now exhagerate that position by tensing those muscles as far as is comfortable. You should feel the tension in your cheeks, jaw and neck muscles. Hold for 5-10 seconds and release.
- Repeat the above process for the letter E.
- Repeat the process in point 1 for the letter I.
- Repeat the process in point 1 for the letter O.
- Repeat the process in point 1 for the letter U.
Now we need to look at a few more exercises to concentrate on the forehead and eye area.
- To workout your forehead, simply frown by contracting the muscles in your forehead and holding for 5-10 seconds and releasing.
- Now for the eyes. Open your eyes as widely as possible as if you look surprised at something and hold that position for 5-10 seconds and release.
- Close your eyes as tightly as possible, screwing up your nose in the process. Hold the position for 5-10 seconds and release.
When you are finished, you should feel a tingling sensation in your face as fresh blood and oxygen come into the area. Wait for a few minutes and perform your regular skin care routine. The total workout will take anywhere from 40 seconds to 1 minute and 20 seconds. Repeat the exercises every day for best results.
