How do you increase your activity levels without changing your lifestyle? Start with some of these simple techniques...

  • When you stop at traffic lights on your drives to and from work, try squeezing your butt cheeks together - Trust us, no-one will notice and you'll get a smooth, sexy bottom line.
  • When you go for a family picnic goto an area where you cannot access easily by car (eg. the beach). Park the car in the parking area and walk to where you want to picnic. You get added resistance benefit by carrying your food and gear to your desired picnic spot.
  • Take your dog for a walk every day. Play fetch but try getting the stick before the dog. You'll have lots of fun and true unconditional friendship.
  • When you're cleaning the house, try adding a few weights to your arms or legs for extra resistance and muscle toning. If you don't have weights, get a couple of full bottles of shampoo and put them in your pockets.
  • If you work in a high rise building, use the stairs instead of using the elevator.
  • If you work in a single level building, go for a walk around the block instead of having a coffee break. You'll feel better and your head will be clearer.
  • Instead of driving to the shopping centre, ride your bike or walk.
