Tropical Fruit Bread

Serves: 4 People Preparation Time: 7 minutes Cooking Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients:

4 thick slices wholegrain bread
1 Small Paw Paw (Papaya)
2 Mangoes
100g Chopped Macadamia Nuts
2 tsp honey (optional)

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Lightly Toast the bread slices.
  2. Peal and slice paw paw and mango into long sections.
  3. Arrange the fruit alternately (slightly overlapping) over each bread slice.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped macademia nuts and drizzle with a little honey if desired.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve as a healthy quick snack with a little organic vanilla yoghurt and a cup of your favorite herbal tea. This treat also tastes great in the mornings with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice - the zesty flavors wake you up and provide sustained energy to get your day off to a flying start.
